When Nadia first held the crystal opal that would become Celestine, she knew it called for something different, something that would honour its rarity and exceptional quality, while also holding movement, softness and strength all at once.
At the heart of Celestine lies a rare double-sided crystal opal from Andamooka, South Australia. Unlike more common opaque varieties, crystal opals are translucent, light passes through them, revealing shifting colours that feel almost otherworldly. It’s this quality that makes them so beloved, and so hard to forget.
To honour the stone’s ever-changing nature, the opal sits within a rotating, diamond-framed bezel, a deliberate choice that reflects the idea that beauty, like emotion, is never static. The piece gently turns, catching light from every angle.
A long gold tassel set with graduated opals cascades beneath. Each stone was chosen to echo the colours of the hero opal, adding rhythm and balance to the whole. The result is both structured and fluid, refined, but softly expressive.
Celestine is a tribute to the duality of opals: ancient and modern, fragile and strong, quietly glowing and suddenly brilliant. It’s also a nod to the Australian landscape, where opals are drawn from earth that has been forming for millions of years.
